3 steps to decrease stress and frustration

Hello Lovelies

I hope everything is going well for you guys. I have been really stressed out and frustrated lately. I seriously couldn't get too much done due to it so, I've decided change a few things in my daily routine. I've noticed such a big difference and I was less stressed and frustrated. I'm going to share with you guys the three things that mainly helped me overcome my constant battle.

Step 1: working out

I decided to set a chart on my desk at home where I do all my work than write down something new I learnt that day. Wheather it's about me or my day in general I wrote it down. This helped me notice even if I'm busy all day there is something new I've learnt and my whole day wasn't a waste.

Step 2 : Exercise

I made time for physical activity such as working out because it gets difficult to keep in shape and eat right with so much on my plate. So I sleep early and wake up 5 am in the morning to hit the gym after having breakfast. It's seriously the perfect way to start my day and I don't have to come home from work and worry about hitting the gym. I sometimes usually on weekends choose to do some yoga to relax my muscles.

Step3: venting

Venting is the best stress reliever known to kind wheather is venting to your friends or significant other. It's better than holding your frustration in and constantly being angry. Also having a relatable person to talk too makes your problems feel small and pity. So I won't be as difficult to deal with them the next time around.

Effortless Fall Look

Hello Lovelies

I've been really busy lately and it's gotten hard for me to set a date to shoot. I know to many it seems that blogging is easy but honestly it could be such a challenge at times. I always feel down when I'm not giving my 100% and always remind myself why I'm doing this. I love blogging and it's been sort of a hobby for me. I have taken it a bit more serious when I noticed feedback. It has definitely allowed me to be myself and share a piece of me to the world.

On that note let's get into this look that I have put together. As you can see from the topic this look is effortless yet comfy. It's fall I love wearing lots of basic chic looks to combat this transitioning weather. I purchased this oversized jacket from Zara recently and, I was definitely in love with it. I decided to pair it with the most simplest items to complete this look. Which was basic skinny black jeans and a white crop top hoodie. I also paired my black boots from H&M and to top it all off I added my Aldo bag. I put this look together in under 15 minutes and it had saved me so much time. Thank you for taking your time to read this post.

Naimah Talks: Social Media

Hello Lovelies

As you can see from the topic today I want touch basis on something that has been on my mind which is Social Media. Social Media has made it easy for many to share content and to reach different people all over the world. There's often a misconception by many that social media is there personal diary and, a place to vent. I know many including my self have seen Social Media as a safety net and have shared personal information. I have been seeing time after time people expressing there thoughts and feelings hoping it will make them feel better.

I honestly believe otherwise because there a lot of people watching your social media pages. They feed off of exactly what you give them whether it's good or bad. When I feel down and misunderstood the first thing I would do is vent or feel the need to express my self ,hoping people will relate. It has been that way for a while when I then realized it was the wrong way of going about it. I've noticed random people will feel entitled to judge your life and actions. If I was more careful no one would have had access to my personal situations. So, I decided to stop trying emit feelings on twitter because at the end of day nobody is ever going to understand the pain and hardship you're going through without them  stepping into your shoes.

Social media can also make you depressed about your life. Like instagram everyone shares great accumplishments and, moments. It makes hard for you to live up to a picture perfect live's because it isn't true. It's just a collection of good moments, who wants to share and capture bad moments to the world ? no one. So never take the it to serious to a point where it depresses you and takes away you joy. Be happy with what you got in your life because there would be so many people killing for what you have. Don't let social media get to your head your so much more than a picture or 140 characters. Thank you so much for reading please comment and subscribe for more posts.

Double trouble (ReMake)

Hello Lovelies
Today I'm excited to share with you all a collaboration with my lovely brother. There is a lot of times where I sneaked into my brother's closet for inspiration. It's so much fun playing dress up but, I feel like he gets irritated with me constantly lurking in his wordrobe. I always take an essential piece from his closet and try to dress it up. I then later figured why not bring our heads together and, style similar looks. With an essential piece in common we went and, brought two looks together. One for the male audience and, the other for the female audience. I hope you guys enjoy this collaboration make sure you comment below and, subscribe.
