Mom jeans equality | Naimah.A

Hello Dolls

I hope all is well where ever your beautiful souls are. Today I'm here to bring back my most favorite trends that I have worn in the past on my blog which is mom jeans. I was always afraid of styling them in the past because I never taught it matched my body shape. For many women their biggest fear is wearing mom jeans and not having it flatter there bodies. I was very skeptical and kept telling myself it wouldn't work and that I had to loose weight in order for it to look good. I finally decided to take a chance and wear it with confidence and it's been the best decision i've ever made. Cheers to mom jeans equality because it doesn't matter how it looks it's about the attitude you have while wearing it. I hope you guys enjoyed my post make sure you comment down below and share this post. Till next time XOXOXO

No judgement zone | Naimah.A.

Hello Dolls

I hope all is well where ever your beautiful souls are at. I was sitting at a Starbucks the other day doing some networking on my laptop and an older gentlemen has approached me asking for change. The gentlemen had a Starbucks drink in his hand and disregarding the fact that he just purchased a drink me and my friend next to me have pulled out whatever we had and gave it to him. A few other people sitting across from us also did the same until it came down to this one man who rudely brushed him away. After brushing him away he looks over to us and says he can afford a Starbucks drink but is begging for change for bus trip back home. That alone left me to wonder why this man was so quick to judge him and antagonize him for his behavior. I felt like no one should be treated that way no matter how much you think you have them or their lives figured out. It takes a lot for someone to stand in front of you and beg for change and it doesn't make there lives easier to have to deal with rude rejections. It seriously ruffled my feathers to see such behavior play out in front me so it only made sense I shared that with you guys and see what you can take from it. With that being said I wanted to share these amazing photo's that were taken by Huda who is the makeup artist behind the makeup and the photographer for most of my shoot's including this one. I hope you guys enjoy this collaboration leave a comment down below. Till next time XOXOXO

Beauty and the geek | Naimah.A

Hello Dolls

I hope all is well wherever your beautiful souls are at. I recently made a huge decision to take off my headscarf that I was known for wearing all this time on my blog. I always enjoyed wearing my hijab and I felt for so long it was apart of me. It went a long with everything that I wore and it just completed my looks. I've recently have been reevaluating my decisions on why I do certain things and my intentions weren't all the way right. I'm still a Muslim for those who feel my religion is in question because of my decision. I'm also still going to continue to express my personal style with you guys and update my blog as always. Since that's out of the way I want to share with you guys my recent collaboration that I recently did with a good friend by the name of Ameera. She is also a fashion blogger who does modest fashion and I will leave the link to her Instagram here. We decided to do our own versions of dorky chic looks and it has been really fun to step a little out of our daily comfort and try something new. I hope you guys enjoy this post make sure you check out the outfit details down below. Till next time XOXOXO

living your truth | Naimah.A.

Hello Dolls
A lot of time many of us are conflicted by society and the idea of being perfect gets a hold of us. I for one I'm a victim in a sense that I fear being myself for the most part and don't like people knowing too much about me. To many people that's a good thing but the down fall is that the relationships that you form don't have too much substance and depth. All my friendships that I have formed in the past have been easy for me to dispose of because of the fact that I had such little connection. I don't have the guide book for healthy relationships and friendships but I do know that living your truth and being yourself does keep the right people around you. I hope you guys enjoy this look make sure you check out the outfit details down below. Till next time XOXO
